Art Eggsibit Registration

Thank you for your interest in Mapleton City's NEW Eggsibit at the splash of color event! We invite you to create a one-of-a-kind Art Work. For the competition. Individuals, families, groups, organizations, and businesses (great advertising opportunity!) can participate for fun prizes. All art work must be egg themed.

Community Judging will take place at the splash of color event  on Sat., April 12, 2025. It will cost $5 for participants over 12 to enter the splash of color event. The art creations will be transported and displayed at city hall until April 30th. 

Contest Rules:

• Tables to display art work will be provided for each entry by Mapleton City. All entries will receive a number that day at the park on Sat., April 12, 2025. The number will correspond with a table placement at the Mapleton City Park.

• Please bring stands, easeles, and other needed supplies to have your art work be displayed. 

• Art work set up will take place at Mapleton City Park on Sat., April 12 from 9:00am-10:00 am. Artwork must be up by 10am.
  

• Community Judging will take place that same day from 10:00 am-11:45am. Awards will be given out shortly after 11:45 am.

• Creations should be “Family Friendly” and remain appropriate for viewing. They must fall into one of the catigories: Sculpture, painting,Giant egg or other art.

• All entries will be displayed through April 30th 2025 at Mapleton City Hall. Art work should be removed from City Hall on April 30th. Any artwork remaining after that day will be discarded.

• Artwork may reflect a special theme and/or promote an organization, event, or business.

• Artwork should be constructed to withstand weather and wind.

• Appropriate signage may be displayed to identify your Art work or promote your  work.

• Artwork reflecting controversial, social, religious, or political opinions or statements will not be accepted. Mapleton City reserves the right to remove any Art work it deems offensive or inappropriate.

By submitting this entry form, I/We agree to follow the contest rules. I/We release Mapleton City from any and all claims for personal loss, damage, or injury incurred during the Splash of color Event. Mapleton City is not responsible for damage or loss of a Art entry. I/We also give permission for the use of names and photos of any Artwork entry for publicity in relation to the event. I/We will display and maintain our Artwork at Mapleton City Park  August 12, 2025.
